About Us

Paraklētos is the Greek word for “Advocate” and is used in John 14:26 to describe the Holy Spirit and how he is an advocate to God on our behalf.

James 1:27 says that “External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.“

Parakletos is a blog that offers a voice to the orphan, inspiration for adoption, and awareness for the needs of the widow.  We do this by offering our followers original content developed by our team of contributors.
